Lunch Breaker/Floater - Brighton
We are looking for a Full time Teacher Assistant at our Brighton Program. This position is 32.5 hours per week with benefits. Hours are set to be M-F 10:30am-5:30 pm. A set schedule is determined upon hire and may be adjusted based on the needs of the program. Our hours of operation are 6:30am-6:00 pm, and hours will adjust within this time frame accordingly. Benefits (including medical, vacation, sick, etc) and bonuses available. In addition scholarships are available to continue your education to grow within our company.
Requirements:
- At least 19 years old.
- HS Diploma/GED
- Completed physical upon hire with TB Test and Appropriate Shot Record
- Receive and maintain a clear background check through DCFS
Location: Brighton Step By Step; 402 N Maple; Brighton, IL 62012
Duties: Some, but not all duties include:
- Assist in maintaining a quality classroom that ensures the safety of children and staff at all times
- Assure the classroom is in compliance with regulatory agencies at all times
- Communicate and maintain positive working relationships with parents and staff daily
- Interact with children within the program at their level
- Follow and complete Cleaning Checklists
- Assure children are pottied and changed regularly
- Assist with lesson plans daily
- Assure classroom responsibilities are completed daily
Pay: Starting from $17.25 per hour

Preferred minimum qualifications for any position include experience in a childcare program and/or college-level Early Childhood classes.
