Brighton Latchkey

  • Our Brighton Latchkey Center has been open since 2015 and provides care for children grades Kindergarten to 5th Grade.
  • Our hours are from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Our Brighton Latchkey Program is fully licensed as Day Care Centers by the Illinois Dept. of Children and Family Services.

  • In collaboration with the Brighton School District, we provide care on site at the Brighton North School to help with the ease of transition from the school day to our program. This program is open year round for before and after school as well as holidays and school breaks!

The Brighton Latchkey Program Provides:

  • Full and Part-week care for ages up to 12 years of age
  • Before and After School Care
  • Full Day School age program during holidays and summer
  • Full background check on all employees
  • CPR & First Aid trained staff in every classroom
  • USDA approved healthy meals & snacks
  • Sibling and Monthly discounts available
  • Online bill pay available
  • State subsidies accepted from DCFS and DHS for parents working or attending school
School Age Care
For children Kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Bus Transportation provided by districts
  • Care Provided On School Holidays, Snow Days and Summer breaks

Latchkey Director

Hailey Prater
Ms. Hailey is the Latchkey Director for Brighton. She comes with several years of experience working with many age groups. She spends her time between our Center and Latchkey programs. She holds an Associate's Degree in Child Development and has earned an Early Childhood and Director Credential. Ms. Hailey's goal is to provide a safe, relaxing, and educational environment to children after school, on holidays, and on school breaks.
